Reuniting with Familiar Faces
One of the highlights of my experience was reuniting with colleagues and friends I’ve met on FAM (familiarization) trips and through my journey in the industry. These familiar faces reminded me of how far I’ve come since starting MSP Tours and Travels. Sharing stories of growth, lessons learned, and the evolving travel landscape was both heartwarming and motivating.
There is a unique bond that forms during FAM trips. Experiencing destinations together, sharing long bus rides, or marveling at wildlife under the African sun creates connections that last a lifetime. Seeing those faces again at Meetings Africa felt like reconnecting with a family that shares a common passion for showcasing the best of what Africa has to offer.
Learning and Inspiration
Beyond networking, the event offered insightful sessions and workshops. Topics ranging from sustainable tourism practices to leveraging technology in the travel industry sparked ideas I am eager to implement in MSP Tours and Travels.
